Ducan Craig

Dr Duncan Craig is the Director of Nutrition and Regulation at the Australian Food and Grocery Council (AFGC).  

He leads the AFGC’s work on nutrition policy, regulation and science, helping members deliver safe, high-quality food and grocery products to Australian consumers.  

Duncan brings expert knowledge across food science, policy development, trade and regulatory systems in Australia and overseas.  

He has held senior roles at Food Standards Australia New Zealand, including Principal Microbiologist, and with the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources (now the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry).  

Duncan also represented Australia as Counsellor (Agriculture) at the Australian Embassy in Beijing, strengthening international collaboration in food and agriculture.
