PIF, PEAL and Allergen Management – what you need to know?

Tuesday 12 September

9am to 10:30am AEST

Are you ready to manage plain English allergen labelling (PEAL) changes for the products your business manufacturers and supplies?
Do you have all the information about your products that you need to ensure legal compliance and respond to customer inquiries?
Is the information you hold for your products current, compliant, and easily accessed when needed?

If your answer to any of these questions is ‘no’ or ‘not sure’, then this is the webinar for you!

The changes required by the PEAL amendments to the ANZ Food Standards Code take effect from February 2024.  These changes may require updates to your product information and labels to ensure compliance. This webinar will focus on PEAL and allergen management and how the AFGC’s Product Information Form (PIF) can assist with labelling compliance. You will have the opportunity to hear from three speakers with expertise in this area and to ask questions about the PIF.

The AFGC Product Information Form V6.0 (PIF™ V6.0, ‘the ePIF’) is a web-based information management tool developed by the AFGC to assist food companies obtain and share product information needed to comply with Australia and New Zealand food regulations, industry codes, and customer product specifications in a consistent, standardised manner.  PIF V6.0 manages information in a readily exchangeable secure, electronic format.
